In my own perspective, I am a learner with this unquenchable thirst for the well-written word & well-developed sounds. And would remain a learner to the very last word I ever read or develop. The emphasis I am laying on ‘words and sound’ is on the grounds that I am a writer and a musician. My writings and sonic pieces are very process driven. And it is the process on which the form of creativity favored depends - be it an advertisement’s copy, a short story, a book, lyrics, script, technical text, or the virtual content that’s moving across the information highway, background score for an audio-visual, TV commercials, jingles, voice-overs and of course, my own compositions.
I am a human being with a funny mind & try to carry a smile for everybody who deserves it. And this is how I manage to interact effectively with people. My attitude is that of an individual who is sincerely result-oriented. One tends to get disturbed at times when a deviation from the results happens. Then I sustain my belief with the honesty I maintain towards the work I am doing. Down to earth individual who has zero amount of antagonism for anybody, unless or until incited. Through rationalized thinking I try to achieve the yardsticks of any given brief. Whether it is drafting a report, concept development & visualization or merely writing e-mails.
Other than the professional side to my being, is the interest in making music and going through the works of Kafka, Edward de Bono to Gotham, MADS & Herge comic books. These equip me and boost my communication & visualization skills-set to a great extent. I also like myself to remain physically fit, and that explains my indulgence in a 30-minute straight workout session everyday. The ex-frontman & guitarist of Fetus & dRaGsTa is untamed with lots of respect towards nature and lives on a will of his own; a sold out only to himself…thus making things that make me a mustang. Communication arts of all forms have always held a status of an undying urge in my mind with music being the most respected of them all. I work on guitar equipped with disorganized, unpredictable but strong vocal abilities that leaves a thought provocative impact on many listeners. I give my bands 'BRUZEDMUSTANG' & 'MUSTANGSOWN' a lyrical force to counter everything that it feels is wrong. 'MUSTANGSOWN' is my solo verbal and visual act for all platforms along with being a bluesy industrial grunge/jam band. Call him a 'sharp cold groove' that is exploding somewhere or the other as you are reading this.
My life experience came from watching movies, watching TV and reading books and looking at magazines. And when your fucking culture comes from watching TV every day, you’re chucked at with images of things that seem cool and places that seem interesting. None of that was for real where I was. All of it was virtual, intangible and farce. And after you’re almost taught to realize it’s not for you. There was a guise that had run its course. I needed to get my priorities straight, my head screwed on. Instead of always working, I took a couple of months off, just to figure out who I was and working out if I wanted to keep on doing this or not. I had become a terrible addict; I needed to get my shit together, figure out what had happened. And that I did configure to the core.
My aim is not make it big. It is to create a difference that leads to bringing about a change for this new world order. Yeah, in doing so if do make it big then I honestly don’t mind.
For the moment I am on a look out for a capacity to include my creativity, though knowing there can be no boundaries.
